Ingredients
- 1 box Dark Chocolate cake mix (not devil’s food), plus ingredients called for on the box
- 1 can chocolate frosting
- 1 lb powdered sugar
- 8 oz cream cheese
- 1 tub Cool Whip
Directions
- Mix the powdered sugar, cream cheese, and Cool Whip until the consistency of melted marshmallows. Set aside.
- Bake the cake as directed in a 13x9” pan.
- Slice the cake in half horizontally and remove the top. Spread the cream mixture over the bottom layer and replace the top.
- Microwave the frosting for 50-60 seconds and stir. Pour over the top of the cake.
- Refrigerate.
