Ingredients
Cake
- 4 eggs
- 1/2 cup cooking sherry
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/2 cup Crisco oil
- 1 box yellow cake mix (moist)
- 1 small box vanilla instant pudding
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans
Topping
- 1/4 cup water
- 1/4 cup cooking sherry
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 cup sugar
Directions
- Mix all the cake ingredients together except the pecans and pour into a greased and floured bundt pan.
- For the topping, boil the water, sherry, butter, and sugar together for 4 minutes.
- Poke holes in the cake and pour the topping over it. Leave in the pan for 30 minutes before removing.
